Tailgate at Lakeside

Join us in the Lakeside parking lot as we tailgate together on Sunday afternoon.

This is an event for everyone! Whether you love football or not. Whether you have ever tailgated or not. Whether you own a grill or not. Tailgate at Lakeside is for you, your family, your friends, and your neighbors.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

An opportunity to spend time with old friends and make new ones, great food being prepared and shared, giveaways, food competitions, cornhole and flag football games, pumpkin painting, and inflatables for the kids

WHAT TO BRING:

Your entire tailgate setup, a grill or smoker, meat and sides (both for you and to share, if you would like), lawn chairs, and yard games like cornhole (bags)

WHAT TO WEAR:

Your favorite team's (of any sport) jersey or gear to show your spirit

FOOD COMPETITIONS:

Four categories: meats, sides, chili, and desserts. The winner of each category will win a GCI rocking lawn chair!

Planning to set up a tailgate? As you arrive at Lakeside, please look for our parking attendant to help you find a spot in the south section of the lot. You are welcome to set things up before our services, during one of the services, or following the 10:30 service. Also, we will have folding tables available if you need one for your tailgate.

Not planning to set up a tailgate or can't bring a grill? We've got you covered! You can enjoy the hot dogs that Lakeside will provide. We'll also have a big gathering space for anyone who doesn't already have a tailgate!
