Did you know Isaiah 9:6 is the most quoted Bible verse in Christmas cards? Isaiah 9:6 says, "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."
Isaiah 9:6, which was written 700 years before the first Christmas, is a kind of "first Christmas Card" from God to his people. Why? Because it one of hundreds of verses in the Old Testament announcing the coming of Jesus. We get annoyed when retailers begin preparing for Christmas a month or two early. However, God prepared people for Christmas centuries ahead of time so they would be ready.
Join us for worship throughout the Christmas season as we unpack the timeless message of God sending His One and Only Son into the world. On Christmas Eve we will have two services at 5:00pm and 6:30pm. On Christmas Day we will have one service at 10:15. Families will be encouraged to worship together throughout the weekend.
