It's a wilderness out there. These are some of the toughest times we've faced in recent memory. Yet we're not without a survival guide. The invitation of Proverbs 3:5-6 is our guiding star: Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Do not rely on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge the Lord. He will make your paths straight. We also have the wisdom personified in the example of Jesus. He is the way, the truth, and the key to life. Join us this summer as we embrace God's wisdom to overcome everyday challenges.
You may pick up a booklet for this sermon series at Lakeside Monday-Friday during office hours, or Sunday morning during our 9:00 or 10:30 AM services! Booklets provide you with space for sermon notes, a few study questions, and a reading challenge. We challenge you to read the 31 Chapters of Proverbs in 31 days.
Starting this Sunday at 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM, Lakeside will be open for all to come and worship in groups of 10-15 in different locations throughout the building (we are calling these Pods). In the pods, your family (children will remain with parents) will worship, watch the message, and take communion with others of your church family. Families will be put in groups with others in a similar life stage so that they can worship freely without fear of distracting others. Student Pods will be available on Sunday morning as well, so keep your eyes peeled for further communication!
Lakeside will be using the CDC guidelines, so masks are encouraged as you enter the building and during singing. Also, there will be sanitizing stations in each pod with a protocol to follow. We are SET on making this experience safe and enjoyable! See you Sunday!
