Groups & Classes in 2023

Groups and Classes are a great way to become a deeper part of community at Lakeside while digging into God’s Word this winter/spring.

Sermon-Based Groups are available throughout the week. Just listen to the weekly sermon from the gospel of John and complete a few study-guide questions each week before meeting to discuss, encourage, and sharpen one another. The sermon series starting January 8 will be called, Deeper Still.

Other Groups and Classes: In addition to our ongoing classes for adults which meet in Room 109 at 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM, we have two elective class opportunities in the new year.

  • Financial Peace University will be facilitated by Evan & Courtney Westlake on Wednesdays at 5:45 PM starting January 24 in the Worship Center. The class will help you get out of debt and approach your finances with godly principles.
  • Holidays, Halloween, & Holy Days is a five-week class to be taught by Eric Radecki on Sundays at 9:00 AM in Room 120. Find out how holidays can help us walk closely with Jesus throughout the year.
  • Matthew 24 is a small group led by Tom Hayes on Wednesdays at 6:30 PM in the Chapel. This group will study Jesus warnings and guidance for living for him from Matthew chapter 24.

You may checkout our group and class offerings, learn about our group leaders, and register for a class or group starting December 18, 2022 at Lakeside Groups & Classes.  Lakeside’s Kids Groups and Jr. Hi. Student Groups will be meeting each Wednesday from 5:45 to 7:45 for parents interested in a group for themselves. All sermon-based groups start the week of January 8 with the new Deeper Still sermon series.

Still need help? Jay Brooks will be in the lobby at the "Groups" table near the coffee bar to help answer any questions on Sundays of December 18, 25, January 1 & 8.
