1. What makes for a terrible leader? What makes for the best

leader?

2. Share how you did with last week’s specific and measurable

response to God’s Word? See question 6 from last week.

3. Summarize this week’s passage in less than a minute. What

did you learn about God (Father, Son, or Holy Spirit)? What

did you learn about yourself?

4. Read Isaiah 32:1-8 & 33. Why would a righteous king be so

desirable in a sinful world full of lesser kings? What will the

Righteous King bring along with him? Why would so many

find it difficult to follow a Righteous King?

5. Read Psalm 72. How could you use this as a guide for

praying for your leader?

6. Skim through Matthew 5-7 and list characteristics of true

righteousness according to Jesus. It’s mentioned five times.

7. What measurable and specific step of obedience do you plan

to take this week in response to God’s living and active Word

in Isaiah?

8. Write a sentence prayer expressing back to God what you

learned this week. Share your prayer with your group.
